At a luncheon on Wednesday, November 5,  Sertoma Club of Charleston President Danny Gilbert presented donations to various charities. These donations were made possible from funds raised during the 2014 C. T. Lowndes & Company Sertoma High School Football Classic, held last August at Johnson Hagood Stadium on the campus of the Citadel. 24 local high school teams participated in the Classic.

Recipients included Green Heart Project, Boy Scouts, Camp Happy Days, Eagle Harbor Home for Boys, Ronald McDonald House, West Ashley High School ROTC, and Windward Farms. These groups received a total of over $50,000.

A total of over $3,600,000 has been donated to local charities since the Sertoma Classic began 44 years ago.

C. T. Lowndes & Company has served as title sponsor for the last 4 years and has agreed to be the title sponsor for the 2015 Classic.
