ServiceMaster of Charleston recently sponsored Firefighter Appreciation Night at the Charleston Riverdogs baseball game at the beautiful Riley Park on the banks of the Ashley River.  C. T. Lowndes & Company was happy to be one of the sponsors for this annual event.

All proceeds are donated to the Burned Children’s Fund in an effort to make a difference in children’s lives. The Medical University of South Carolina and South Carolina Firefighters team up to ease the recovery process for burn patients and their families.

At Camp ‘Can’ Do, children are matched with Firefighters to help the kids return to school as well as educate their classmates about the child’s experience.

To watch the firefighters work with the kids is truly an amazing and heart-warming scene.
